Very good.

Food was awesome! The service was excellent and our waitress was a character! Definitely will stop here again!

My husband and I were traveling and decided to stop at abbys for a quick bite. At first we were concerned with all the bad reviews but decided to make up our own mind about the place. The positives; first, the service was quick, hospitable, and kind. Second, the atmosphere was warm with a hometown feel. Third, the gyro sandwich, Reuben sandwich with fries, and the veal parmesan were all excellent dishes (especially the Reuben sandwich). Now the negatives; first, we have a baby and there was no changing table in the bathroom. Second, the location of restaurant has a very round-about way of returning to the highway. Third, the garlic bread that accompanied the veal parmesan was less than mediocre and appeared to be processed. All in all we would recommend trying out abbys cafe if you're passing through.

Ordered a coffee to start with. Half way through the cup, I saw the inside of the cup was gross nasty from a dirty cup with unknown chunks in it. Then my 9 year granddaughter was very excited to order one of their muffins in the case. It was hard as a rock and dry as can be, like it was 5 days old! But that was not the end of our experience from hell. My granddaughter ordered a Belgium waffle with strawberries, no whipped cream. Of course it came with the fake whipped cream smothered all over. I ordered the chicken dinner that came with a tossed salad and a dinner roll. I received my salad and roll after my dinner of chicken and potatoes were gone. And only because I pointed out that I didn't receive them, which I did upon the delivery of my food. It was the worst service I have ever had anywhere. There was no apology from the wait staff. There was no manager on duty for me to talk to. Their only saving grace was the new cook who came out and tried to smooth things over. Which by the way the chicken and potatoes were excellent. And, once the whipped cream was was removed, the waffle was so good as well. Unfortunately, in spite of the professionalism of the cook, I will never go back.

Overpriced and very poor service

Great service. Many options on menu
